From Doylestown Emergency Hospital’s opening at the intersection of Pine and Oakland Streets 100 years ago, our national profile has grown to reflect our award-winning, comprehensive healthcare system—Doylestown Health—that includes the flagship Doylestown Hospital.
Our founders, the Village Improvement Association, established the hospital and continue to support it through their steadfast leadership, governance, and philanthropic investments in every facet of the hospital and health system.
Now, as we envision our second century of healthcare excellence, our mission continues to reflect the time-honored traditions of innovation and patient-centered care begun by the VIA in Doylestown.
